Honey ab + b quesadillas

All I gotta say is zayum. Make these sweet lil quesadillas ASAP because it'll be one of the easiest recipes you'll make in your entire life. Probably.

Think of the deliciousness of the dessert sopapillas at a Mexican restaurant- except with bananas, almond butter, and not deep-fried. Feel free to top them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you're feeling a little wild. You're welcome.

These are perfect for breakfast (with some protein and greens on the side), a snack, dessert, or whenever your heart desires, honestly.

In this recipe, I used Siete almond flour tortillas, but you can use any tortillas you have. I would probably recommend flour over corn though just for taste purposes. I also used almond butter but feel free to use any nut butter you have on you like peanut butter, sunbutter, or cashew butter.

With tortillas, I used two Siete tortillas since they're small, but if you have larger tortillas you can use one and just fold it in half.

Alright, let's get to the good stuff. 5 ingredients only!

Honey AB + B Quesadillas

Prep time: 5 mins

Ingredients

2 Siete grain-free tortillas (or any tortilla you have, larger tortillas you only need one)

Almond butter

1 banana

honey to drizzle

cinnamon

Directions

1.) Heat up a skillet on medium-low heat. Spread almond butter to cover one tortilla.

2.) Slice banana and cover the almond butter side in slices, and then place in skillet banana side up.

3.) While the first tortilla is softening the bananas in the skillet, cover the other tortilla in almond butter and then place on top of the tortilla in the skillet. Cook each side for a couple minutes, and then flip the quesadilla, making sure not to let any of the bananas slide out.

4.) Remove quesadilla from skillet and cut into 4 slices with a pizza cutter. Sprinkle with cinnamon (the more then better) and then drizzle with honey.

5.) Take a picture and put it on your story, and tag me so I can see it (; Happy eating, friends!
